Districtwide Bike Permit Safety Program
BIKE & eBike PERMITS 26-27
School will start before you know it! Get a head start on applications for a Bike/eBike Permit:
#1:
In 26-27, ONLY Grades 3-5 may ride an eBike to school (K-2 students may get a permit for a regular pedal bike and it is recommended that this age group ride to/from school ONLY with adult supervision.)
#2:
No “Class 3” eBikes. Class 1-2 eBikes have working pedals and have a regulator that will only provide pedal or throttle assist up to 20 MPH.
#3:
NO elementary students may ride a powered scooter/escooter to school as CA law requires riders to have a valid drivers license (aka age 16+).

**Sticker/permit distribution will happen during the first week of school. Bike must be present for staff to apply permit. Permit applications and distributions will be available throughout the year.
